The paper is a few years old but they have a a section for future research and trends.
There is also a section on the different ways that the data can be interpreted.
There’s also a table with a review of some different technologies and some of the limitations of them – useful as I’ll need to delve into this more as I the responsiveness of the technology will depend on the accuracy of the data gathered and how it can be interpreted.
