Thoughts
- An amazing reference book about design principals which also includes a lot of technical pointers
- I am glad that I am aware of most of the principals discussed in the book through my art degree – so I can feel relatively confident about my knowledge of design
- I will come back to the book if I get stuck with particular issues, in particular – the chapter about text is an area where I can learn more
- The function of the book is to provide the basics, so I may also need to look to other resources for rule breaking or pushing the boundaries of design.
