What was most interesting to me was how different the points of view the pro-AI people are to the people that I know who are living ordinary lives.
If anything was scary about this, it’s the fact that we seem to give so much power to a very small amount of people and they in turn have the power to shape the lives of much of the planet in ways we will be unable to resist.
Our lives will become harder, more confusing and more disrupted and they seem to be working under ideology without clear or informed ethical process.
