{"id":1389,"date":"2025-05-07T10:22:32","date_gmt":"2025-05-07T10:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wsa-creativetechnologies.uk\/kb4n24\/?p=1389"},"modified":"2025-05-13T16:17:47","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T16:17:47","slug":"game-making-project-plan-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wsa-creativetechnologies.uk\/kb4n24\/game-making-project-plan-review\/","title":{"rendered":"Game Making &#8211; Project Plan Review"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>&#8220;Aims and Objectives <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">By the end of this project I will have <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Have conducted research on game theory, and more specifically on gaming and masculinity <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I will research a range of game-making strategies and choose the best for the project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I will design and make a prototype game, which may also be the basis for my final project in semester 3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I will gain user feedback on how the effectiveness of the game&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Checking My Progress<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I think I have achieved much of what I expected to achieve in these aims, but the process has taken me much longer than expected <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">It has been a challenge keeping up with the week&#8217;s taught and self-directed learning while also planning and executing the project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The research stages have gone well and I think I have explored a broad range of books for theoretical knowledge about how I should approach the game design process, narrative and mechanics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I am currently making the game using lots of tutorials from YouTube and a tutorial book from the library <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I am trusting in my instinct that I will soon be able to make the game in the time that I have left!
