I think that overall these came across as bad things that seem to distance us (rather than bring us closer) to what it means to be human. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The avoidance of accepting our mortality seems to be hardbaked into the current, dominant view of what innovation in technology should aspire too. Transhumanism is a way of conquesting into death&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It did not paint these developers in a good light. The final encounter (in S.Korea) left us with the question about our potential squemishness about trying to &#8216;recreate&#8217; the dead. He reminds us that what looks like the dead person, is not real.
